About Chairman
Dr.T.K.Chatterjee is one of
the senior most academic-administrators in West Bengal. He served as the
Registrar of the University of North Bengal for about 20 yrs. (
Oct.,1987 รข€“ June,2007 ), Director(HR), Techno India Group (
July,2007-May,2008), Registrar of the University of Gour Banga (
June,2008- Jan,2010 ) and Director of Distance Education, University of
North Bengal( April,2010-June,2012). Prior to accepting administrative
position, Dr.Chatterjee taught as Lecturer in Chemistry at Raiganj
University College ( April,1971-Nov.,1976) and as Lecturer & Reader
in the Department of Chemistry, University of North Bengal (
Dec.,1976-Sept.,1987). He has supervised Ph.D. work and has an enviable
list of publications in various disciplines besides his core subject of
Chemistry. Dr. Chatterjee has travelled to many countries on invitation
attending Seminars and delivered Special Lectures. He is one of the
architects of the All India Federation of University Officers
Associations.
